Ursula Keller, Director of the National Center of Competence for Research for Molecular Ultrafast Science and Technology and Full Professors at the Department of Physics since 1997, receives the prestigious Charles Hard Townes Award 2015 for her “seminal contributions in the fields of octave-spanning lasers, frequency comb technology, and high repetition-rate ultrafast semiconductor disc lasers”. The award is presented to Ursula Keller during the International Year of Light Plenary Session of The Optical Society OSA.
