Silvia Dorn, Professor Emerita at the Department of Environmental Systems Science, received the Doron Prize 2014 endowed with CHF 100’000 for her seminal research work in Applied Entomology, which contributes significantly to a more sustainable world food system.
In addition, she was appointed C.V. Riley Lecturer 2014 at University of Missouri.
