Swiss National Science Foundation appointed a new Gender Equality Commission in order to find new ways of enhancing equal opportunies in its research funding.
The independent Commission is composed by international experts and chaired by Susan M. Gasser, director of the Friedrich Miescher Institute and professor at the University of Basel. “We have to face the challenges of gender equality in new and original ways,” says Martin Vetterli, President of the National Research Council.
